
Tanya Rambert
On Tuesday, July 12, 2022, Tanya was promoted by the HAP Board of Directors to Executive Director. Prior to her promotion, Tanya served as Director of Operations since 2014, managing HAP’s day-to-day operations – and has played a critical role in helping the organization fulfill its mission of providing legal services and advocacy to individuals and families at risk of or experiencing homelessness in Philadelphia. She is also the founding member of HAP’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and HAP’s Pandemic Response Team. Tanya serves on the City of Philadelphia’s Roadmap to Homes Racial Equity Committee.
Tanya has a long history in legal services outside of HAP. She began her career at Community Legal Services and served for 17 years at Philadelphia VIP, where she held many management positions. Immediately prior to joining HAP, Tanya worked at the Philadelphia Bar Association, where she managed financial accounts for HAP, the Philadelphia Bar Foundation, and other legal nonprofits.
Tanya holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. She also earned a certificate in Human Resource Management from the Nonprofit Center at LaSalle University in 2008. In addition to her work in legal services, her professional background includes human resource management, administration, operations management, finance, and technology.
