Our country owes a great debt to those who served. Homelessness among our veterans is unacceptable. HAP does not discriminate—young or old, combat or non-combat, honorably or dishonorably discharged, if you took an oath to serve our country and are now homeless or at risk of homelessness, HAP is here to help.

We are committed to serving our Vets during the pandemic. Click here for Covid-related services and resources.

Service Connected Benefits, Pensions, Discharge Upgrades

HAP is uniquely positioned to help veterans obtain VA benefits – service connected and pension. We also advocate for discharge upgrades, which lead to better benefits and healthcare for conditions related to their service. The VA system is complex, with obstacles at every turn – let a HAP attorney or volunteer help you navigate the process.
