Our country owes a great debt to those who served. Homelessness among our veterans is unacceptable. HAP does not discriminate—young or old, combat or non-combat, honorably or dishonorably discharged, if you took an oath to serve our country and are now homeless or at risk of homelessness, HAP is here to help.

We are committed to serving our Vets during the pandemic. Click here for Covid-related services and resources.

Service Connected Benefits, Pensions, Discharge Upgrades

HAP is uniquely positioned to help veterans obtain VA benefits – service connected and pension. We also advocate for discharge upgrades, which lead to better benefits and healthcare for conditions related to their service. The VA system is complex, with obstacles at every turn – let a HAP attorney or volunteer help you navigate the process.

For help with any veterans-related issue, contact Michael at 215-523-9594 or [email protected], or come to one of our upcoming Veterans clinics.

Veterans Project

Since 2001, HAP has been committed to serving veterans experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The Veterans Project’s goal is to help veterans secure income and stability. You can meet with our Veterans Team at day centers, medical centers, and housing programs dedicated to serving veterans.
