Children, Youth & Families Project Director

Claire Grandison joined the Homeless Advocacy Project in 2026 and serves as the Children, Youth, and Families Project Director. Before joining HAP, Claire worked at Berney & Sang, where she primarily handled special education cases for youth with disabilities. Claire previously worked at Community Legal Services (CLS) in Philadelphia for over ten years, where she co-founded the Youth Justice Project to provide holistic, community-based legal representation for youth in Philadelphia. At CLS, Claire was awarded fellowships through the Stoneleigh Foundation and the Independence Foundation to advocate for improved access to benefits for youth with disabilities, especially youth in foster care. Claire received her BA from Vassar College and her JD from American University, Washington College of Law.
