Nina Torres (they/them) joined the Homeless Advocacy Project in April 2026 as a Law Clerk, primarily working on the SOAR Project. They first became acquainted with HAP as a summer legal intern. Nina received their B.A. in history from Manhattan College and will receive their J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law. During law school, they also interned with CLS, the Mazzoni Center, the Philadelphia Family Court, and HELP: MLP and participated in Temple’s Access to Justice Clinic. Outside of work, they enjoy spending time with family and doting on their elderly cat.
