Patrick McNeil
Patrick McNeil joined HAP to work on the SOAR Project (SSI/SSDI Outreach and Recovery) in early 2018, and has since secured benefits for over 200 people experiencing homelessness. He provides regular trainings and outreach to our community partners and is an active member of HAP’s social media, advocacy, and DEI committees. He sits on the advisory board at the Department of Behavioral Health and Disability Services.
Prior to his work at HAP, Patrick was as an intensive case manager at Resources for Human Development, working directly with those in shelters diagnosed with mental illnesses, linking them with treatment, housing resources, benefits, and more. He received his Master’s in Education from Temple in 2011, and has taught in Strawberry Mansion and El Centro High schools. Community is important to him.
